Walking Safari in Lake Manyara N.P.
Experience the nature of Lake Manyara National Park up close on a guided walking safari — feel, hear and breathe the true essence of Africa.
Walking Safari in Lake Manyara National Park
A walking safari in Lake Manyara National Park is a unique opportunity to experience the African wilderness from ground level. Accompanied by an experienced ranger, you explore the park on foot, observing nature in silence as every sound and track begins to tell a story.
During the walk, your guide explains the local flora and fauna and teaches you how to read animal tracks — how elephants choose their routes, where giraffes find their food, and how hippos conceal themselves in the water. Walking through the landscape allows you to experience it in a completely different way, engaging all your senses.
Lake Manyara is renowned for its large troops of monkeys, flamingos along the lakeshore, and the iconic tree-climbing lions (with a bit of luck, you may even spot them from a distance). This activity is ideal for nature lovers who wish to experience the wilderness more intensely than from a safari vehicle.
